Bent tree

T's brother and niece (a fellow blipper!) stayed last night. It was lovely. We chatted, sorted out the world's problems and then went out for dinner. Great company and a great evening.

Today we briefly walked at the castle. It was a cold misty day and I hobbled after cormorants, swans and ducks but to no avail. I particularly love this part of the gounds so decided to blip it today. I remember dangling from this tree as a child and paddling in the stream. It is still so beautiful (and I still want to paddle there).

In chestnut news - I secured some chestnuts from the farm shop but tonight was not the night. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. :)
