Market day in Ely
Such a beautiful day — warm in the sun, out of the wind.
I took notes of some of the sounds and smells of the market, and quite a few photos to record the sights — useful for writing about a market scene in the future, while remembering to answer the question “What makes your location different?”
The stall on the left sold all sorts of things from fence pole hole makers to poky dental instruments.
Some buskers were playing along the road a bit, and I enjoyed listening to them. After they played a song I really like, and did justice to it, I thought it only fair to give them a donation.
