Field Fares

We decided not to venture out today.  did some washing but it was dried indoors.  Pottered a bit and watched the birds.  A couple of field fares came in and they seemed intent on stripping the berries on the laurel  (my blip of 27th Feb).  We watched them for a quite a while and then they flew away.  The woodpecker also paid a visit and a Jay  and a moment ago a bullfinch not to mention the robin and the blackbirds or the pesky wood pigeons 
Not very good pictures I am afraid but taken through two sets of glass (patio doors and conservatory) so quite pleased with them considering. 
My extra  is the snow on a neighbours roof - just loved the way it formed arches.
More snow today but seems to have stopped  now.
