Danger : Sudden Drop, Aylesford
Yet another freezing, bitter day. Often the sudden drop in my village is just that - a big drop from the bank of the river when the tide is low. Today, however, the river level was very high and the sudden drop was almost non-existent. It's only a fifteen to twenty minute walk from where I live to the pub just the other side of the bridge in this photograph but it was long enough to still feel very cold indeed. A reviving pint was worth the journey.
We've had consistent, if mostly light, snow since about three o'clock this afternoon and it's showing no sign of stopping soon.
