Lambs in the Snow

It has been snowing for most of the day and I did feel for the little lambs exposed in the bitterly cold wind. The sheep were scratching the snow to reveal the grass. Unusually for sheep they walked towards me as I approached - hoping, I think, that I might be bringing food. When I came back the farmer was spreading pellets on the snow for the sheep to eat - and they were running behind following his tractor.
