No milk today

We braved the blizzard-bashed streets of Edinburgh this morning for a trip to the supermarket - or two supermarkets and the corner shop to be more precise. The supermarkets were eerily quiet, and with obvious low stock. Neither had any milk, hence the need to call into the corner shop on the way back to our flat. My blip was taken in Tesco.

My working day began on email, then I moved onto editing grant proposals for members of my team. Meanwhile Mr hazelh attempted to claim back the costs of our hotel in Liverpool on our supposed 'worldwide' travel insurance. This, apparently, does not cover trips in the UK! Someone needs to explain to me where the UK exists, if not in the world. (By the way, the company is Insure and Go. We won't be using them again!)

Since our trip to Liverpool has been cancelled we have been plotting with Ridgeback13 to see her at some point over this suddenly-free weekend.

Exercise today: sit-ups, weights and stretches, minimal walking.
