I was supposed to be singing in a concert tonight but it's been cancelled due to concerns about people getting home safely. For the little snow we get here it wouldn't be economic to have the gritting and snow-tyres and heated pavements we saw in Norway but I did, out of the corner of my eye, spot Grieg and Sibelius raising their eyebrows at each other.
