Arboreal fireworks

Weatherwise a grey monochrome day, tree-wise, well they are really getting into their stride. A huge beech tree is providing a huge amount of pleasure as I go about my day. I spent a good half hour this evening, mooning about under the canopy taking photos. Even with the lack of natural light, the colours of the leaves are fabulous. I hope we get a smidge of sun this week so I can take a photo of the whole majestic tree.
