Table for two? On the terrace?

Mrs B's birthday ... not quite as planned.

So I had kind of accepted that the trip to Bute was off some time around Wednesday afternoon. 

The photo from the owners of the rental showing the approach road under ten foot drifts arrived on Thursday and had Mrs B giving in to the inevitable.

Tom was hanging on until the phone call from the owners telling us to definitely not come as they hadn't managed to get the last set of holidaymakers as far as the main road yet, even with the aid of a substantial tractor and snow plough.

So we're making the best of it - which means Mrs B buggering off out to her friend's 40th. 

Beer, warm fire... you are mine.
