2 sisters

There were 7  Scots Pine 'sisters' planted to commemorate something on the Downs - only these remain so more have been planted a little further off.

There were kite flying skiers but too far for my mobile to catch more than a shadow of them.  Lots of snow drifts around - 3 feet on part of my terrace.  Hope it will have melted by the time I move at the end of next week.

There were 9 goldfinches sipping snow on the terrace yesterday - it seemed more important to them than my sunflower seeds.   Have to keep going out to uncover them from the snow drifting onto them.
