Corn da Murasciola

An overnight trip with the local mountaineering club took us into the stunning Val di Campo. Good snow and a couple of exhausted members of our group influenced our decision not to make the final push to the summit on foot (in the background), but to descend by the same route. After a descent bask in the sun, absorbing the panorama and some refreshment, we headed down, in mostly descent powder, to the welcoming Saoseo hut for a sociable evening and a very satisfying dinner. It was great to be
a) overnight in the mountains,
b) spending the evening with some really great and friendly people
c) doing what I love doing best.
