On Pins & Needles

This is what I spent the majority of my day looking at.

I spent nearly 1.5 hours in the fabric store looking for the perfect fabric to cover my livingroom pillows with. I had nothing in mind when I walked into the store other than my husband wanting something "soft". Cotton it was. I went to the cotton section which was depressingly small and thinking about how much I couldn't wait for the new fabric store to open. I found one that peaked my interest, but there wasn't enough left. And then there it was. The fat square isle.

I thankfully found 4 -only 4, which luckily was the exact number I needed - of this pattern. Next, I needed to find a solid cotton fabric for the backing. I thought there would be an exubrant amount of solids, but nope... maybe 30 colors in all. I settled on "teal" and found matching "parakeet" colored thread.

I managed to piece together 1 set of pillows today. Now my back needs a rest.
