New project

I started on my new knitting project as soon as I got back from the store and swimming yesterday. It’s going to be a blanket for Project Linus. I’ve included the pattern in the shot, but since in the book it is white and pale blue, it doesn’t show up very well. You use two strands of yarn at the same time, so I chose turquoise and a variegated yarn, and it’s knitted on quite large needles, so knits up fairly quickly. It was a wet day today, so apart from going to the gym, I was home the rest of the day so got several more rows done today. This evening it was out to handbells and choir practice
