Snow day

Roedd y Brifysgol yn cael ei chau heddiw, felly doeddwn i ddim yn gallu mynd i'r gwaith. Cerddon ni i'r pentref i brynu ychydig o bethau. Roedd e'n dawel yn y pentref - roedd ychydig o geir ar y ffordd ac roedd y rhan fwyaf o'r siopau ar gau.  Roedden ni'n gallu prynu rhywfaint o fwyd cyn cerdded adre.  Dydy'r eira ddim yn toddi ar hyn o bryd.  Rydw i'n meddwl y bydd e'n aros am dipyn.


Gall y tywydd ddod â'r gorau mewn pobl.  Ar ôl yr eira rydych chi'n gallu gweld pobl yn gwthio ceir gyda dieithriaid, neu ofyn eu cymdogion os maen nhw'n angen rhywbeth, neu jyst sgwrsio gydag unrhyw un yn y stryd. Mae'n dda i'w gweld.

The University was closed today so i could not go to work. We walked to the village to buy a few things. It was quiet in the village - there were a few cars on the road and most of the shops were closed. We were able to buy some food before walking home. The snow is not melting at the moment. I think it will stay for a bit.


The weather can bring the best in people. After the snow you can see people pushing cars with strangers, or asking their neighbors if they need something, or just chatting with anyone in the street. It is good to see.
