Wood Pigeon

We had a mix of snow and rain during the day, but then in the late afternoon we had a lot more snow. Today’s picture is of a Wood Pigeon on the bird table, taken as usual through the kitchen window.

There was not much to do except to stay indoors and today’s extra picture is my afternoon’s work. A top-down premature baby matinee coat. This is the first one of this kind I have knitted, but it will not be the last. It is knitted all in one piece so the only sewing is the loose ends and the buttons. No seams to rub against the baby; I shall be making another one very soon. This one still needs to have buttons added.
