Was a bit shocked to wake up to ice on the outside of our windows. We have had lots of freezing rain covering everything. The road is just a huge sheet of glass and even a vertical brick pillar outside our front door is covered. We will not be venturing out today but it’s bit chilly indoors - our boiler broke down 3 days ago and looks as if we can’t get an engineer out until Tuesday. So pleased we have a wood burner in the lounge!
