Old Cataract Hotel, Aswan

Here we are, arriving at the Old Cataract Hotel by boat. We didn't think we'd be able to check in till 3pm but were going to enjoy the pool area. Lovely surprise when we were told that not only was our room ready but we'd been upgraded to a suite on the 8th floor. And what a view! See Bb's blip:

We decided we could get used to this luxury and lifestyle very easily and both agree that we could live quite happily in the hotel suite! Aswan's really very beautiful and it's getting under our skins.

We enjoyed a day in the hotel: Bb did some work on his laptop in the room, while I wrote the end-of-course reports for the trainees who have just finished the recent CELTA....they'll be happy if the view made me see them through rose-tinted glasses.
