Canal Marinas are.....

....so nice in summer. In winter they can be brutal. Total respect for anyone who lives on a barge all year round.

I went into work even though 51% of me said stay at home. With all the schools off and many people opting to stay in the warmth my commute was a breeze. I knew I wouldn't do a full day and I left at 4:00pm the drive home was great, I decided to do all the little lanes knowing they would be deep snow but with less slow cars trudging on. It was a good decision as it was fresh deep snow but quite grippy, I was sideways a few times but what a blast and one of my most enjoyable commutes.
