Black and white

At my instigation we did a couple of laps of Petersfield Heath pond this morning while the snow was still looking fairly pristine, with a pit stop for coffee cake and latte at the Plump Duck. It was all very pretty and the lake was largely frozen although starting to thaw at the edges. The various waterfowl were taking it all in their stride.
