Plumbing new depths.

We were having our breakfast, when the phone rang, As is usual in our house, I went to answer it, and it was our daughter, wanting to speak to J. She explained that in the early hours of the morning, they had had  a burst water pipe. Our son-in-law turned it off at the mains, and they phoned the company that they are insured with, but they could n't come out until next week. She wanted Dad, to go down and  and fix it.  He gathered up all the essential tools needed to repair it, but first of all. he had to clear the drive, as there was a huge snow drift at the  gates, and onto the road. About an hour and a half later, he was back home, and the  pipe was repaired. As soon as he got in, one of the neighbours called around, and asked if J could have a look at his outside water tap, as that was leaking severely. Luckily, he was able to fix that as well.  Two satisfied customers:-) About an hour later, our daughter, son-in-law & g/daughter called.  They had bought me a beautiful bunch of flowers, and  some tonsil varnish for J.  So J has had a busy day, but I didn't go out, so had to resort to an inside blip, again. This is one of the block prints, hanging on our living room wall. The snow is disappearing fast,thank goodness, so I hope to get out tomorrow.
