Redwing

I don't think I have had a Redwing visit my garden before, but I have seen many blips of them recently and understand that they rarely visit gardens except in the coldest weather when the snow covers the fields!
They usually arrive in UK in Sept/Oct from Iceland, Russia and Scandinavia.
They leave again in March/April to breed in the Northern territories.
