The Vennel

We had already decided we’d go for a walk today, so we got up early (for a Saturday) and left the flat just after 9. Still loads of snow round here, and quite difficult to walk on some pavements.

First stop was Calton Hill, which was a challenge up and down, but worth it for the view at the top (extra pic). The Royal Mile followed, then the Grassmarket, the Vennel, then home via Marks & Spencer for tonight’s dinner.

Beef casserole in the slow cooker as I edit some pics. Looking forward to that later.
