Eyeing up the Apple

The song thrush returned to the garden today. When I was out this morning I bought some extra apples and chopped one up. He has been keeping it all to himself and chasing the blackbirds away. For this shot I managed to get outside and reasonably close without disturbing him.

The extra was taken a little earlier through the conservatory window.
