DYING DAFFS
It's been snowing again on and off all day. We're well stocked-up with comestibles, but I could do with a supply of fresh daffs. I expect all the Cornish ones have taken a hammering in the last couple of days.
Thanks for all the good wishes for my old Mum after her fall. She's still doing well and being cared for and expertly fed by Sister A2, the chef. A2 is off to Scotland on Tuesday to do some cheffing in the Borders, so we'll all be hoping that Mum accepts help from her daily carer (who is wonderful and looked after her when she was recovering from falls just over a year ago), and doesn't try to do anything reckless. I'll be on standby just in case, but my nursing and cooking is far inferior to what she's getting used to!
