walking to work

I was headed to the park before work but paused to take this picture.

Shortly after as I continued on my way, I came across a man who had fallen over and was in a lot of pain.  

He couldn't move and with help from a few other people we made him as comfortable as we could (not very, when you are in agony and lying on snow covered ground in the middle of a road).

We called an ambulance but he was, I fear, destined for a bit of a wait as his injuries were not life threatening.

Fortunately we were able to get blankets and hot water bottles from a nearby home and I left him with some of the people who lived there hoping his wait would not be too long.
