Icy

After a couple of days indoors hiding from the blizzards, we decided to have a turn round Hollingworth Lake as it wasn't snowing and the wind wasn't blowing. It was, shall we say, bracing and there were rosy cheeks all round as the icy wind whipped across the water. There were some amazing ice sculptures at the edges where the water had frozen on the trees and grasses, but we were glad to get into the cafe for coffee and cake.
