The icicle works

This is what was left of an icicle which had formed underneath the infamous down pipe which had previously resulted in minor water flooding in the kitchen. Ok somewhat convoluted story but as my brother in law says every house has a system.

In the afternoon out to buy coffee machine number 6 (since 1988, that’s not a bad number). As I reckon I’ve mentioned here already the coffee addict in me began many years ago. This was purchase attempt number 3, first one didn’t look like it was going to work, second one simply didn’t work (not sure why someone thought they’d try and sell a clearly non functioning item), but this one was tested and made a delicious coffee although at 5pm wasn’t keen to finish said drink.
