Skating

A slow thaw today, but the pond at Emsworth was still iced over when we went for our morning walk.  We popped into the cycle shop on our way, as we are both thinking of getting new bikes.  Myself as my 25 year old bike is extremely heavy and I fancy something lighter to manoeuvre, and Andy, as he doesn't currently have a cycle.  There are lots of easy cycle routes to explore around here so we are hoping that, come the spring, we'll be able to go on some rides together.

Later we visited Andy's Mum.  She has had a bit of a set back, as she has contracted flu whilst in hospital.  She is now in a room to herself and has some nice views from the window.  If only she had been able to go home when she was fit to leave.
