Time of Robbery: 1.06pm

Shipley Clock Tower was stolen today at precisely 1.06pm and I was fortunate enough to witness the audacious theft whilst getting my lunchtime sandwich. The local police are being persuaded not to try to recover it. There is a hope that it is by now at the bottom of the North Sea!

Up at 4.45am to see Forrest off to catch a plane to New York. Not strictly necessary but it felt the right thing to do as a parent. Pointless trying to get back to sleep so started work early and not long finished. Just had to find a little bit of light relief at the end of a day which, in terms of weather, was as awful as yesterday was wonderful. Drably grey and drizzly all day long. There was at least this one photo to capture.
