Frozen flowers

I'm following a social media photography course (AYWMC Graduates) by the really clear and easy to understand Emma Davies.

This month's challenge is 'frozen flowers'.  It's not as easy as you might think freezing flowers,  as they float to the surface all the time and the ice - depending on what sort of water you use can be cloudy.  However I had a go and it was fun using an Indian takeaway carton, Valentine's Day flowers and water from the tumble dryer.  My ice was hopelessly bubbly and the back of the flower heads was clearer in the block of ice than the front.  But I liked this image and the extras, and I loved doing it.

I'll probably try and do this again but better....
