Saying goodbye

It seemed too soon to be leaving the village of Etroubles. A little burst of light caught the trees on the mountainside this morning, and the snow came on and off.
We drove to Crans-Montana, caught up with some of our friends who have recently moved there, including blipper hibou (an eventful meeting, involving flames!). So lovely to spend the day with good friends.
We drove on later to Barboleusaz, near Villars, to see more friends. We even got to see their local visitor, a badger, and meet the run-over young cat which they picked up off the road and are nursing till someone claims it.
