I lived for a year with my uncle Jack who was President of the Vegan Society of Great Britain - so I have an insider's knowledge of nutters.

Filet Américain is the Belgian equivalent of the French "Steak Tartare"...

Basically it's raw minced beef & there are as many recipes as there are people who prepare it.

Admittedly, it can be pretty vile, but in this case it's quite delicious!!
