Little birds in the snow

I have seen very few birds since arriving in this wintery scene, probably not surprising as Panorama Village is at 1,150m (3,700ft).

However a couple just flew into the trees outside my window!

I think this is a chickadee (I'm not an expert, especially on Canadian birds!).

And there is a male downy woodpecker (I think) in extras.
