natural beauty

This is a Bedouin girl attending to her camel. I was instantly struck by her natural beauty, but also anxious and curious as to what future might hold for her. Most likely school will not be an option, and her life will be shaped by the menfolk of her tribe. It's all so alien to us in the west.

Today was a stargazing trip in the desert and I found it utterly tedious and dull. I think I'm all holidayed out, and I want to come home. On the upside though, I did capture some stunning images ( modesty, I know...) but this girl's smile made it my Blip of the day.
