In the Cold Seat

We were in Umeå after watching the successful defence of Claire's Ph.D thesis, so that's Dr Claire to friends!
Grabbing a little fresh-air before the dinner in the evening we found this square with a labrynth built of snow, and a sofa and benches carved out of the gorgeous clear river ice.  As you would expect it was a little chilly to sit on but Jan suffered for my photography.  The dinner was fun and in the same hotel we were staying in, so no cold walk home for us!
