No more cars

From the 1st March Mt Victoria in Devonport is closed to vehicle traffic. It has caused huge controversy amongst the locals. But it has transformed the experience for the better, I reckon.
We can enjoy the views without the cars and with fewer tour buses. I say "fewer" because they do get a dispensation - to carry mobility impaired, paying customers to the summit.
Mt Vic is such a fabulous spot, right in the heart of the city.
