Wirdumerdraai

The bridge over the Damsterdiep canal in Wirdumerdraai, Groningen, The Netherlands. It's the last day of my two week vacation; tomorrow it's back to work. It also appears to be the last day of frosty conditions. When I was at the scene two hours ago, the temperature was -4,5 degrees Celsius. Right now, it is around -2 degrees and the coming days the thaw will set in. It seems I have timed my vacation perfectly.

I found it difficult to choose between this shot and the extra I have uploaded, that was taken in the blue hour when the street lights were still on.
