Kintsukuroi

Kintsukuroi is the art of repairing pottery with gold. This owl is near Auckland harbour. We had a very good coffee and pastry while waiting for the home shop to open (11am on Sundays) for our friends' SIM card, then we walked up to Auckland Domain park, where there's a statue of Robert Burns! Chinese New Year was being celebrated with many wonderful set pieces and a variety of lanterns hanging from the trees, all very beautiful
