Muzium Tekstil Negara

Merdake Square in Kuala Lumpur is surrounded by beautiful examples of architecture reflecting the heritage of Malaysia. One such building is the National Textile Museum. Originally this building was known as the Federated Malay States Railway Head Office. The name and function of the building changed several times since then.

In January 2010, the National Textiles Museum has changed its function to house a unique collection of clothing, accessories and textiles. It showcases a collection of rare and exquisite textiles of the multi-ethnic communities of Malaysia and is well worth a visit.
