Dripping
It snowed again overnight. When I woke it was foggy but not bitterly cold.
I decided I wanted to go to the gym and pool and the roads looked slushy rather than blocked. It was quiet there. I’d been missing exercise. Somehow snow clearing and tramping through drifts don’t quite compensate.
The outdoor pool was a little too warm but was welcoming and felt like magic.
Slushy again on the way home. Dripping and slowly revealing what was hiding under the drifts.
A wander round the garden suggested that things had gently gone to sleep. My colouring Camellia bud was still vaguely pink and my one remaining staff was slightly folded up and bent low to the ground.
We could do with a bit of sunshine......well, it is Spring.
