What a difference a day makes

Incredibly nearly all the snow has gone and yesterday's drama of clearing it off the road to get the neighbour's car out suddenly seems unreal.  Amazingly the hellebores and irises in the garden have perked up again with no signs of damage.

No golf, so JJ and I took a turn around the wood, which was very wet and slippery, but the birds were singing, obviously happy that the weather has warmed up a tad.

This is some of the honeysuckle in the wood that's just bursting out into leaf, so Spring is definitely just around the corner.
