Fade to grey

We woke to a bright and sunny day, and enjoyed taking Murdoch for a walk in the sunshine. However the promise of a lovely day soon faded and it turned grey followed by some rain. So here we have a grey dog on a grey day - looking out the window, but preferring to stay in the warmth of indoors.

Thomas had another driving lesson this morning, he says it is going well. He had to be at school by 2pm to spend the rest of the day in orchestra rehearsals for their next concert, so a short weekend for him.

Luke is on his way home again by train from Durham, thankfully the trains were all running today. He will have supper at home and sleep the night but flies back to Berlin early tomorrow morning to get back for work. He enjoyed the college ball and seeing his friends again. Poor Adam is having very long days at university, his demanding course means he only finishes in the lab each night after 7pm, some days are 12 hour days for him. The good news is that he is enjoying the lab work so much, he is a true scientist at heart!

The snow has all melted now and the flowers seem to have survived, quite amazing really as they were absolutely covered in snow for a few days. It looks like another cold week but thankfully no snow and no more storms.
