A foggy day

Today we woke to a foggy mist which hasn't lifted all day. We set of this morning in a shower of sleet and snow for a walk via the Yorkshire Showground to the Traveller's Rest pub. We enjoyed a Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
The thaw is underway now, but the eerie silence that comes with snow and fog is still around.
