Where have all the snow gone ?

From a deep covering of snow yesterday, overnight rain washed most of it away. This afternoon I went for a walk with Mrs M over the Marshwood Vale and found little snow and a very warm breeze coming in from the sea that made us loosen  our coats and take our hats and gloves off. It was not to last and later this afternoon we had heavy rain again which washed the most of the remaining snow away and with it the temperature dropped away.
