Good to catch up with eldest son Stephen today en route for an overnight stay in Newport. One train had been cancelled so he was awaiting the arrival of the next.

The thaw has set in giving wet slippery conditions underfoot. Not my favourite walking weather. The sledges have gone all that remains are the broken plastic shards of those that did not survive!
