Onwards and upwards

Another guest blip I'm afraid, as I stayed at home and S went walking in the Pyrenees. Well, it's my camera, operated remotely :) Here they are on the haul up to the tower at Massane. It was a lovely day there, not so much here: cloudy in the morning, rain in the afternoon. I baked.

Yesterday afternoon my mum died peacefully in bed, aged 95. It was a relief, she was so tired and it was time for her to go. Any thoughts I had of getting there last week were stymied by closed roads and airports. But I knew when we visited in January it might be the last time.
