Fields Of Mist

The mist lifted a little after lunch and, to prevent the onset of cabin fever, we went out to Penicuik House to explore some of the paths further from the carpark.

It was still misty there and leaves were drifting lazily down from the trees - but, if the forecast is correct, I doubt if the hues of autumn will last beyond the weekend.
