Frugality

My Grandma’s stunning frugality has become quite apparent today as I continued the work sorting out her home of over 60 years.

I found that she had added some makeshift shelves in the pantry with the metal exterior panels from an old fridge unit. Also found her old shopping bag, she’d used this as long as I can remember. In her last years I’d take her shopping to the village, always she would carry this with her, rarely buying more than this could carry in one run.

Ive blipped before about found objects and what they can mean, from photographs to old tools, even an old shopping bag can carry an unexpected story...
