What A Grey Day

After yesterdays lovely weather I got up to this!!!!

And while I was making a pot of tea I saw at least a couple of dozen sparrows taking shelter in the lilac tree outside the window.
Needless to say that by the rime I got the camera and put on the longer lens they had gone ....... all bar one -- and it was not for showing its face.

Lignum Vitae is the choice of wood for the lids of the pots blipped a couple of days ago ............ watch this space.

I think house cats have it made.
Get fed on a regular basis and sleep wherever and whenever you want.

When I find whoever it is that is sticking the red hot poker in my ear I am going to exact a very painful revenge.
