Fantasia

We were talking about imagination and how in fantasia (we've been watching the never ending story) any thing is possible. "Imagine if we could all swap heads" M said, and she proceeded to try and remove hers.

Was up before the alarm today trying to pull myself together. Had to listen to a few rounds of dolly parton's '9 to 5' to get some get up and go happening.

I was worried about how our muddy buggy from yesterday's carboot might damage the hall way carpets but needn't have, as j took it to work with him in the boot of the car. Thankfully it's not too far to walk but glad we were up early so we could leave early too.

Didn't get the house sorted, but did do the online shop and meal plan with a focus on healthy unprocessed food. Hoping I'll be bouncing around full of energy pretty soon.

We collected the girls from school and had a lovely afternoon. Most school days I find I need more sets of ears as 3 kids natter non stop but today was calmer.

Poor M's in a pickle with a boy from school. She came out crying saying J had told on her for being nasty to him when she wasnt. She says he's just got it into his head that she doesn't like him anymore and keeps crying about it and getting angry and threatening to get her told off. M hates being told off, in fact she wants to be teachers pet so she is mortified after today's events. I saw J after school briefly and he was crying too. Clearly there's more to this story. I shall check tomorrow. No more tears please 6 year olds.

Circuit training this evening. My arms are aching as I type. The lake looks stunning with the lights from the street lamps, pub and hotel reflecting into it. Even with the fog it is quite a sight. I wish I could bring my camera there but I would have nowhere to keep it safe while I train.
